Location

Freedom Defense Tactical is located in the heart of the renowned Texas Hill Country, just outside of the capital of Austin. We operate out of a premium retail and instructional facilities in the proud and beautiful city of Wimberley, Texas. Our facility includes a retail lobby, presentation and training classroom, gunsmith room and offices. Surrounded by marvelous scenery and big skies, there is a sense of Freedom is in the air. Our Team

Freedom Defense Tactical, or simply FDT as we are commonly known, is owned and operated by U.S. Military Veterans. We have firsthand experience with the difficulties and hardships that come with protecting yourself, the people you care about, and your property. The FDT team has performed our duties in the interest of the people and our country while serving in uniform, and now we are continuing our service by ensuring that  safety and protection continue in our communities. The FDT team truly cares about our clients, and although we are no longer serving in a uniform, our watch and our commitment to serve never ends.

Overview

FDT it the premier FFL, Firearm, Accessory and Training Facility of the Texas Hill Country. We offer Firearms, Firearm Accessories, Tactical Gear, Custom Builds, Training Classes and more. We operate out of our professional retail facilities and a private NRA compliant shooting range in the proud and beautiful city of Wimberley, Texas - or we can bring services to you.

In addition to serving the Defense, Tactical, and Recreational needs of our community, FDT supports our local youth and recreational organizations by providing donations, equipment, and volunteer services as often as we can. By ensuring the proper support of our children and our communities, we ensure that a better future lay ahead. A strong community makes for a strong life, and this we’ll defend.
